The lake @ Stanton Lakes

We are pleased that so many clubs and societies meet at Stanton Lakes and enjoy the facilities on-site.  As the water is deep and unsupervised we don't allow the general public to use our lake but welcome visitors to our restaurant and touring caravan site to watch the wildlife and superb sunsets.

A walkabout ticket is available from the bar during opening hours to enable customers to talk advantage of a stroll around the lake to enjoy the views.

Open Water Swimming

Open Water Swimming @Stanton Lakes

Looking forward to next season...

The 2020 open water swimming season finished at the end of September

It was a strange time operating under the COVID19 restrictions and this was how it worked with Session Times in 1 hour slots

Tuesdays: 4.30 - 5.30pm;  5.45 - 6.45pm;  7 - 8pm

Sundays: 7 - 8am;  8.15 - 9.15am;  9.30 - 10.30am

Booking was essential and swimmers were asked not to turn up to swim if they hadn't booked a slot. Bookings were made by calling Jai Evans direct and we requested everyone to be responsible in booking a time that they knew they would be able to come as we weren't able to offer refunds for booked swims where you weren't able to attend.  The price of a swim was £6.00 per person

Fishery Updates

It is with real regret that we have to advise that Stanton Lakes Fishery will remain closed for the time being.

We have suffered significant losses in our Carp and Bream stock and on advice from the Environment Agency we have decided to close the lake for fishing until further notice.

For any more updates check out Stanton Lakes Fishery page to keep up to date with what's going on.
