RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency Course (PWC)

Maximum of 6 people per course

A £25.00 non-refundable deposit is required on booking to hold your place

The cost of the course is £125.00 per person, plus a £10.00 RYA certification fee

If you wish to hire a craft for the day, the cost of the course is £195.00, plus the £10 RYA certification fee.

The one-day personal watercraft course is designed for new skiers, providing a good overall foundation of the sport, as well as offering hints and tips to the experienced riders. The course covers a large syllabus from weather, safety and courtesy to others, launching and familiarisation, PW handling, essential navigation as well as recovery and aftercare. Increasingly, the certificate is required for launching in UK harbours, but is also needed if you want to use your PW abroad. The course can be taken either on your own craft, or a ski can be hired from the centre for the day. Once passed, you are issued with a certificate of proficiency on the day of the course.
